Joshua has been getting more and more demonstrative of his preferences:
"I like Fairy Joe's watermelon, not Shaw's" Fairy Joe's is Trader Joe's.
He likes to teach people how to do things. He'll tell me where to sit, how to strum the guitar.
He tells other kids, "Don't stand up there. It's dangerous."
Sometimes he pretends he is this other boy in the playgroup: Dong-Yeh. I'm not sure why, because he's always fighting with Dong-Yeh over toys. I'll ask him, "What's your name?" And he'll say "Don-Yeh." When I then ask him, "Where's Joshua?", he says, "In New York!"
