Biking

It was nice enough today to go biking, so I put on my rollerblades and Joshua biked with me 2.6 miles all together to and from the Esplanade playground. I was impressed to see how fast he can go now, and even better, he's figured out how to use the brakes. He also went with Annette to the bike shop to pick out a bike bell--the hamburger on his left handlebar.
We tend to baby our boys a lot, so I was surprised the other morning when I told him to get dressed by himself, and he returned, fully clothed!--after selecting his own outfit, even his socks.

Nowadays, Joshua's routine is to go to bed in his own room, but somehow he manages to sneak into our bed every night and I wake up with Joshua and not Annette next to me in the morning.

Our house is over littered with toys, so Annette and I have decided not to get any more toys for the boys, unless it's their birthday or Christmas. So everytime Joshua sees something he likes, he asks if he can have it for his birthday. It's only March, his birthday is in November, and he already has a million things on the this list.
